| Annual Day celebrated in Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Dhanpuri
Dhanpuri:28th April 2010.The Annual Day was celebrated in Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Dhanpuri with gusto and grace .The Chief Guest of the Programme was Hon’ble Shri Ajay Dhar C.G.M. Sohagpur Area & Chairman V.M.C. Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Dhanpuri. First of all The Principal of the Vidyalaya Shri G.P.Chouhan welcomed the chief guest and the guest of honour Shri S.K. Banerjee, Dy. CPM SECL Sohagpur Area by presenting bouquets and the badges.Then the Chief Guest lighted the lamp before the Goddess Saraswati,the Goddess of Knowledge and gave a formal Announcement to begin the programme.Then The Principal Sir read the Vidyalaya Annual Report in which he mentioned continuous and steady development of the Vidyalaya.He also welcomed all the guests, Parents and students. The Chief Guest and the guest of Honour gave away prizes to the students.
Then the Cultural Programmes started. There were various Programmes like Group Song, Group Dance, Solo Dance, Skits in Hindi,English and Sanskrit and Folk Dance. All the programmes were presented successfully by the students,and attracted the Audience.Rajasthani Dance was the Center of attraction. Thereafter the Chief Guest Shri Ajay Dhar blessed the students by his short but inspiring speech. He advised the students to be honest and sincere to their duty and goal. He also appreciated the efforts made by Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Dhanpuri for all round development of the students. Then the Senior Teacher of the Vidyalaya Dr. D.S.Rai presented Vote of Thanks. The programme came to end with singing of National Anthem.
