| 26-01-2010 - Republic Day Celebration |
| Kendriya vidyalaya SECL Dhanpuri: 61st Republic Day was celebrated with great joy. National Flag was hoisted by the Principal shri G.P.Chouhan.Various cultural programmes were organized on this day. Group dance was presented by the students of class I and II. Speech in Hindi was delivered by Shreya Chakraverty and speech in English was delivered by Asha Bhaskar. In their speech they mentioned the common problems which we are facing now a-days. Patriotic song on Jhansi Ki Rani was presented by Sunny Singh. Solo dance was also presented by Shreya Chakraverty.The girls of the secondary classes presented a beautiful group dance which spellbound the spectators. The Chief guest shri Matheli Sharan Gupt, President Awardee reminded us of the Ancient Indian culture and requested not to follow blindly to the Western culture. He also mentioned the problem of corruption which is flourishing shamelessly in our country. Principal Shri G.P.Chouhan inspired everybody by his speech in which he said that we must be honest to our duty and responsibility. Every body must know the importance of his/ her individual life and responsibility towards the family and the nation. Aryabhatta House was given the Running Shield for securing first position in the March past. Dr. D.S. Rai the Senior Teacher of the Vidyalaya presented Vote of Thanks to all those who directly and indirectly were involved in making the programme a success. The programme was organized successfully by Shri P.K.Pandey.

| 31-10-09 - Cluster Level Sports Meet 2009 |
| Cluster Level Sports Meet 2009(Cricket and Badminton) was organised in our vidyalaya from 29-10-09 to 31-10-09 in which twelve Kendriya Vidyalayas had been participated with 205 participants. The first cricket match was played between KV Dhanpuri and KV Dhana just after the opening ceremony.Dr. Verma was the chief guest in the opening ceremony.In the closing ceremony the selected candidates were awarded with the certificates.And Good wishes and blessings were given to selected candidates for the better performance in Regional Meet by the Principal KV Dhanpuri |
